Vandy Football Recruiting: Commodores offer OL Will Fries


Vanderbilt has taken a break form offering a large variety of kids from the 2017 class, and offered OL Will Fries from Cranford, NJ (Cranford Sr HS) Fries is currently a Penn State lean, and also holds offers from Rutgers, Clemson, and Northwestern as well. According to his 247Sports profile, is on the cusp of gaining that highly coveted fourth star.

2016 Vanderbilt Football Recruiting: S Austin Quillen Commits to the Commodores


While on an unofficial weekend visit to Nashville, Safety Austin Quillen from Jenks, Oklahoma (traditional Vanderbilt pipeline huh?) decided he wanted to be the Commodores first commit of the 2016 Class. Quillen is thought of as being a top-5 prospect in the state of Oklahoma, as well as a top-50 S prospect in the nation. Expect this to be the first of many commits from non-traditional Vanderbilt recruiting pipelines while Coach Mason and his staff continue to build relationships within the area as time goes on.
