I’m in the middle of moving again, so I can’t provide too much for this Butler game. I will say it is my personal choice for most difficult remaining game before conference play begins, and I think the recently released NET rankings backs that up. (Ignore that Lipscomb is actually slightly higher, okay?) There really isn’t anything Butler does as well as we do, and we are coming off a win where Sacha Washington set her personal scoring record, earning her a Tennessee Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award, while proving that we can figure it out against a weak team despite a slow start. We head to Butler with good momentum after the NC State game. It’s no sure thing, but we are definitely the better team and so far have seemingly improved game-to-game. We definitely have the better defense, and I think if we do what we’ve been doing and none of the Commodores have a dud of a game, we will carve up the Bulldogs just fine.
