Full Schedule Announced Vanderbilt unveils 2023 baseball schedule
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt will host 32 games at Hawkins Field and play 55 contests, highlighting the complete 2023 schedule unveiled by head coach Tim Corbin. For the first time since the 2020 season, Vanderbilt will open the campaign on the road when the Commodores begin their spring slate with their first appearance in the College Baseball Showdown at Globe Life Field—home of the Texas Rangers. The third annual tournament is scheduled for Feb. 17–19 and features six of the nation’s top programs. Vanderbilt will be joined by Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas. The Commodores begin a six-game homestand Feb. 21 against Central Arkansas. The stretch includes a weekend series against UCLA (Feb. 24-26) as well as midweek games against UAB (Feb. 22) and Austin Peay (Feb. 28). Vanderbilt will travel to Minneapolis to begin the month of March, competing in the Cambria College Classic at U.S. Bank Stadium – the home of the Minnesota Vikings. The Commodores will face a trio of Big Ten opponents in Minnesota (March 3), Nebraska (March 4) and Maryland (March 5).
