We are now 26 days away from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against East Tennessee State. 26 for the Commodores is defensive back BJ Anderson. The 6’1”, 190-pound redshirt junior from Andalusia, Alabama, missed the 2020 season due to injury, but he started nine games at cornerback in 2019, logging 25 total tackles and two passes defensed.

Vanderbilt soccer opened its exhibition schedule on Sunday night with Sophia Gorski scoring in the 41st and 68th minute in a 2-0 win over Chattanooga. The Commodores will play one more exhibition at Memphis on Friday night ahead of the August 19 season opener against Tennessee Tech.
