We are now 27 days away from Vanderbilt football’s September 4 season opener against East Tennessee State. 27 for the Commodores is safety Brendon Harris. The 6’1”, 212-pound redshirt junior from Chattanooga has started six games over the last two seasons; last year, his 42 tackles ranked fifth on the team.

And tonight marks the unofficial start of Vanderbilt’s 2021-22 sports calendar: the Commodore soccer team has a 7:00 PM exhibition game against Chattanooga at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex. This is the first of two exhibitions that Vanderbilt will play; unfortunately, I don’t think this one is televised or streaming, though DotP may be in attendance and have live updates.
