Today marks 61 days from Vanderbilt football’s season opener against East Tennessee State. There’s no 61 on the current roster (and, uh, freshmen still don’t have numbers?) Anyway, that’s everyone’s favorite Vanderbilt offensive lineman Bruno Reagan pictured above.
Yesterday’s big news: three commitments for the football team.

So, for those keeping score at home: Vanderbilt first scored a commitment from Chattanooga McCallie DB Kenzy Paul, then picked up a second one from Tallahassee Godby LB Bryce Cowan. The night ended with a commitment from Hamilton (GA) Harris County athlete KD Hutchinson.
That all put Vanderbilt with 14 commitments in the 2022 class, and the class is currently ranked 39th by 247 Sports. So... this seems good.
