Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

With Jack Leiter a scratch from Saturday’s game, Vanderbilt baseball prevailed over Alabama 6-2 with fill-in starter Patrick Reilly going seven innings and allowing just two runs on two hits while striking out nine. That gives the Commodores a series win heading into Sunday’s finale, moved up to 11 AM CT on the SEC Network+ due to the threat of rain. The Hustler has more on Saturday’s game.

And women’s tennis concluded its season with a 4-3 loss to Ohio State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. More from the Hustler.

The tennis loss leaves baseball, men’s and women’s golf, and, potentially, lacrosse as the only Vanderbilt teams that have yet to conclude their season. Lacrosse will find out whether it made the NCAA Tournament tonight at 8 PM CT in a special on ESPNU. Don’t look at me; I have no idea whether they’re going to make it or not after concluding the season with a 12-6 overall record, 7-3 in the AAC.
