It’s a 3 PM start today.

Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Vanderbilt baseball plays at Louisville today in the annual Battle of the Barrel, and due to the threat of incoming weather, the game time has been moved up to 3 PM CT. Today’s game will air on ESPNU. Andrew will have your game thread later. Sadly, we won’t be facing Luke Smith, who somehow is still in college but also is Louisville’s Sunday starter (and gave up six runs in an inning at Clemson on Sunday. You hate to see it.)

Women’s tennis will compete in the Columbus Regional of the NCAA Tournament starting Friday, when they’ll face Ball State at 10 AM CT. Win that, and it’s on to face the winner of Ohio State and UIC.

Men’s golf signees Gordon Sargent and Jackson Van Paris have been given Byron Nelson Junior Awards. They’ll both join the program in the fall, but it’s good to know that our signees are highly thought of. Men’s golf, by the way, will find out its NCAA Tournament selection tomorrow.
