Well... I’m still packed with adrenaline from last night. First, last night’s pitching performance was the moment when all of 17 year-old freshman phenom pitcher Christian “The Answer” Little’s potential became kinetic.
Not only is Little dealing (7 K through 5 IP), but he's doing it in his first postseason start, against a top lineup, and is keeping his pitch count down (67 pitches; 45 strikes). He's becoming a man tonight, ladies. Mazel tov! pic.twitter.com/oc8DoR3HRW

Of course, the next inning, Little scared the ever-loving crap out of us by flexing his hand and grimacing after a curve, turning all of us (me included) into tinfoil hat wearing MDs going full Zapruder film on the slow-mo of his final pitch.
Then, Big Fish came in mid-AB, couldn’t find the plate, and then lost the human/animal hybrid battle to some Elk with no knee ligaments. He would give up 3 runs on that Elko big fly in the 6th to tie the game. Murphy came in after, and was dominant except for one pitch to that same elk, who hit a solo shot this time to give Ole Piss the one run lead, prompting this:
Maybe no more pitching to that Elk with no knee ligaments.

Of course, the boys were not about to let any of that stop them—Chi Chi led off the 9th with a single (Vaz then pinch ran for him), Shockwave walked, and I.T. and Dom took care of the rest:

Some good news on Christian Little’s injury:
Vandy pitcher Christian Little just had spasms/cramps in his pitching arm, per Tim Corbin.
