Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Only one Vanderbilt football player was picked in the 2021 NFL Draft, but Andre Mintze will still get an opportunity to play at the next level. The former Vanderbilt linebacker signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Denver Broncos. That’s the only Vanderbilt player I know of to sign as an undrafted free agent, and I honestly can’t think of anyone else who’d be likely to get picked up.

The rest of the news isn’t good. Jack Leiter got roughed up in an 11-8 loss to Florida, setting up today’s rubber match at 2 PM CT on ESPN2. And soccer ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Penn State in the NCAA Tournament, though DotP notes that pretty much everyone is back next season for the defense of the SEC championship.
