Vanderbilt golf moved into second place in the regionals.

PGA: U.S. Senior Open Championship - Third Round Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Vanderbilt men’s golf shot 4-under par on Tuesday at the Kingston Springs Regional, moving into second place two shots behind leader San Diego State, which went 8-under yesterday. The Commodores will begin the final round of the regional today simply needing to finish in the top five at the regional to advance to the NCAA Championships; you can follow the live scoring here.

(And, because I love each and every one of you, live scoring for the NAIA golf championships.)

Baseball routed FIU 20-4 but might have lost Carter Young heading into the season-ending series against Kentucky, which starts tomorrow.

Shea Ralph hired Chris Brann as the program’s director of operations and David Myckowiak as video coordinator.

And in football staff news, on-campus recruiting director Christina DeRuyter is off to Michigan, after she was only on the job for maybe a couple of months at VU (she replaced Taylor Searels, who went to Texas earlier in the offseason.)
