Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

The baseball team bounced back from losing the series opener on Friday with a 13-2 win over Ole Miss on Saturday, setting up Sunday’s rubber match at 2 PM CT on the SEC Network. The Commodores connected for seven homers and Jack Leiter struck out 13 batters in six innings in his first start in two weeks.

The win has Vanderbilt a half-game behind Tennessee and Arkansas (who play the third game of their weekend series today) for first place in the SEC, and leaving a cancelled game against Alabama potentially looming large.

Shea Ralph got her first commitment in the 2022 recruiting class from Amauri Williams, a 6’4” post player from North Little Rock, AR, who’s ranked 9th among post players in the 2022 class by ESPN.
