Vanderbilt men’s golf took down Alabama and Arkansas in match play on Sunday to claim the program’s second SEC Championship in the last five years (also, and I did not know this, the second ever.) That gives the Commodores an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals, which start in a couple of weeks, though they almost certainly would have been in regardless.
Baseball spotted Mississippi State four runs in the first two innings before coming back to win 7-4, a loss that Mississippi State fans took extremely well.

For the Vanderbilt Univ football team to show enthusiasm during the game is one thing , but to come to the team buses and harass the team and fans after the game is totally unacceptable. Apparently the administration doesn’t care. #TOTALLYCLASSLESS— Everett Kennard (@Dogbusdriver) April 25, 2021

Anyway, lacrosse beat Temple 10-6 on Sunday to close out its regular season. The Commodores finish the regular season with a 12-5 overall record and will be the 2-seed in the AAC Tournament.
