ALL THE EXPLETIVES
Major news out of the portal: Vandy’s Dylan Disu will be entering his name in the flooded transfer portal, a source told @Stockrisers. For the Commodores, he averaged 15 points, nine boards, shot 49.2% from the field. 6’9 forward with tons of upside, tons.— Jake (@jakeweingarten) April 21, 2021
Anyway, I’m sure it was pure coincidence that these articles were ready to go.
Keep an eye on the #Texas #Longhorns as the transfer destination for Vanderbilt's 6-foot-9 Dylan Disu of Pflugerville Hendrickson, the #SEC's leading rebounder last season who entered the transfer portal Wednesday, a source told Horns247.https://t.co/YFGZOht20c.— Chip Brown (@ChipBrown247) April 21, 2021
A Pflugerville forward who had an outstanding sophomore season at Vanderbilt entered the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday.https://t.co/rT4cmGmrGf— Burnt Orange Nation (@BON_SBNation) April 21, 2021
Yeah. Totally a coincidence. Unrelated, but hilarious:
Oh yeah! And this also happened today.
(Hell, Disu didn’t even go that far.)
Anyway there’s something very Sheldon Jeter about all of this that I can’t quite put my finger on...
The @NCAA enforcement staff better get on the transfer portal scene as coaches have told me the cheating going on is rampant ! MUST NAIL THOSE TAMPERING but even if they do it will take YEARS before sanctions r levied .— Dick Vitale (@DickieV) April 21, 2021
Ah! Yea. The NCAA does jack shit about enforcing its tampering rules even when it’s very obvious that it’s going on.
The transfer rule was instituted to allow players that don’t play to transfer w/o sitting. However STARS & PTPER ‘s that have produced r moving on in big #’s . Coaches have told me they can prove this wheeling & dealing is happening & plan to notify @NCAA— Dick Vitale (@DickieV) April 21, 2021
Spoke with several coaches that r saying that widespread tampering is going on in recruiting players from the transfer portal. They claim players r informed that School X will offer if u get in portal . That is pathetic & violates y the rule was put into play .— Dick Vitale (@DickieV) April 21, 2021
Yep. This is all of course completely coincidental.
