Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Former Vanderbilt big man Luke Kornet has a new home. The Boston Celtics acquired Kornet as part of a three-team trade, putting him on his third team in four NBA seasons. Also, I had no idea that we’re now listing Luke at 7’2”; apparently he continued growing after he left Vanderbilt.

Baseball had no issues with not recognizing Missourah in a 10-2 win to open this weekend’s series in Columbia. Kumar Rocker was a bit less dominant than usual, scattering five hits over six innings while striking out five, but he was good enough on a night when the bats were awakened. The Commodores will play Missouri again tonight at 7 PM CT.

Men’s and women’s tennis both play Tennessee today. The women host the Vols at 3 PM CT (stream here), while the men are on the road at noon CT (stream here.)

Lacrosse is on the road at East Carolina for two games this weekend, with today’s game starting at 3 PM CT and streaming on ESPN+. Men’s golf opens the three-day Old Waverly Collegiate today at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.

Football is allowing a limited number of fans for an open scrimmage Saturday at 11 AM CT.
