Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Vanderbilt bowling won the Southland Bowling League championship for the third time since 2015, prevailing Sunday in its second best-of-7 match against Louisiana Tech. That gives the Commodores an automatic bid into the NCAA Championship, which begins on April 7, and where Vanderbilt will be seeking its third national title in program history.

Baseball lost 6-5 to South Carolina, with the Game Penises plating two runs in the eighth inning to take the series finale and avoid a sweep. Thomas Schultz was marginally better than his last start against Oklahoma State, but his hold on the Sunday starter spot seems tenuous.

Lacrosse completed a two-game sweep of Cincinnati to open AAC play with a 16-14 win on Sunday; the team is now 7-2 on the season and 2-0 in the AAC. Women’s golf finished 10th in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
