Vanderbilt bowling rolled past Tulane and Louisiana Tech on Friday in the first two rounds of the Southland Bowling League tournament, setting up a match with Sam Houston State this afternoon at 1:30. Win that, and the Commodores are on to Sunday’s final; lose, and they’ll have to come back from the losers’ bracket.

Baseball took the SEC opener 3-2 over South Carolina on Friday night. After dealing with Kumar Rocker, the Game Penises now have to deal with Jack Leiter today at 11 AM CT on the SEC Network.

Lacrosse won its conference opener 10-8 over Cincinnati. Women’s golf is in 12th place at the Liz Murphey Collegiate in Athens, Georgia. Women’s tennis hosts Texas A&M at noon.
