Vanderbilt baseball is back in action tonight at the Hawk, looking to bounce back from Sunday’s loss to Oklahoma State as they host Belmont at 6:30 PM CT on the SEC Network+. Belmont is 4-7 on the season and previously got swept by Ole Miss. Also, Kumar Rocker is the SEC Pitcher of the Week, because... you know.

The Tennessean has (subscriber-only) five questions as new Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea starts his first spring practice tomorrow. Also, here’s a profile on new director of player development Earl Bennett, who you might have heard of.

And we already knew this, but Ejike Obinna is officially in the transfer portal:

And... on the other end of the transfer portal:

Men’s golf played 36 holes yesterday and is in fourth place at the Tiger Invitational in Opelika, Alabama. They’ll complete the tournament today.

Vanderbilt will allow limited attendance at soccer and lacrosse games starting on March 21.

New podcasts: Chris Lee podcasted with Mitch Light about last weekend’s series against Oklahoma State (among other things), and Max Herz also recapped the Oklahoma State series on the Anchor Down podcast.

Don’t forget to submit your questions for the baseball mailbag and get your bracket in for the Anchor of Gold Bracket Challenge.
