Vanderbilt basketball picked up its first SEC Tournament win since 2017 with last night’s 79-68 win over Texas A&M in the first round. Outside of a brief stretch early in the second half when the Aggies came back to tie the game, Vanderbilt was in control for most of this one and now extends its season for at least one day. They’ll play Florida today at around 1:30 PM CT (or 25 minutes after the first game of the day ends) on the SEC Network. Survive and advance.

Lacrosse closed out its nonconference schedule yesterday with a 20-13 win over Kennesaw State, improving to 5-2 on the season. Somehow, Kennesaw State’s soccer team is also coming to the Vanderbilt Soccer/Lacrosse Complex today as Vanderbilt soccer opens its spring season. Game time is 3 PM CT and it will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
