Good morning.
Optional Musical Accompaniment
Well. After former Vanderbilt baseball players David Price and Walker Buehler got World Series rings for the Los Angeles Dodgers in October, Ke’Shawn Vaughn joins in the act with the Buccaneers’ 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV last night. That’s right: Tom Brady has gotten rings for both Adam Butler and Ke’Shawn Vaughn. (Also getting a ring: former Vanderbilt linebacker Sheldon Quarles, the Buccaneers’ director of football operations.) Vaughn didn’t play in the Super Bowl, but he still gets a ring.
Yesterday was a good day for Vanderbilt tennis: the women beat ETSU 7-0, moving their record to 6-0 on the spring season, and the men are now 3-0 after a 5-2 win over Rice on Sunday.
Vanderbilt women’s golf makes its 2021 debut at the FAU Paradise Invitational today and tomorrow at Boca Lago Country Club (not to be confused with Mar-a-Lago) in Boca Raton, Florida.
