Week 8: Saturday College Football Schedule and Open Thread

Ah, hell, watch bowling. Or baseball.

It’s Saturday. Week 8. That means more college football, although this week’s schedule is lighter than most thanks to this being an apparently popular time for a bye week (for instance, five SEC teams are on the bye this week.) Vanderbilt plays Mississippi State today at 3 PM CT, but before and after the game, there’s other football to watch.

Also today: Vanderbilt bowling starting at 8:55 AM! Allegedly live streaming! Also also today: Game 6 of the NLCS, which I care about mostly because the Astros will play one of these in the World Series.
