This will be the third week in a row that Vanderbilt is playing in the middle of the afternoon, with last Saturday’s game at South Carolina and this Saturday’s home game with Mississippi State both kicking off at 3 PM. This one is a 2 PM kickoff, probably explained by the fact that there are only four SEC games on the 30th. Six teams in the conference are on the bye week that weekend, with five having a bye week on October 23. Vanderbilt will have the last bye week of any SEC team on November 6.
Elsewhere, the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party gets the 2:30 PM kickoff on CBS, as it always does. The other two games will both kick off at 6 PM CT: Ole Miss at Auburn on ESPN, and Kentucky at Mississippi State on the SEC Network.
