So, yeah. Last time out, the Vanderbilt Commodores came close to doing something they almost never do: win at Rupp Arena. Vanderbilt came up just short in a 77-74 loss, with two three-point attempts rimming out in the final seconds. Now the Commodores are back at Memorial Gym today to host the Mississippi State Bulldogs, winners of two of three to open SEC play, but also a team that hadn’t really looked impressive in November and December.
Anyway, KenPom gives Vanderbilt a 35% chance of winning this one, which incredibly is the third-highest among Vanderbilt’s remaining 16 games. Have fun, expect to win, and Anchor Down.
