Yeah, that’s now five losses in a row to open SEC play, and the last one came complete with Jerry Stackhouse going on a postgame rant worthy of the Anchor of Gold comments section, accusing players of doing the same dumb shit and calling out individual players.

In other words, we have reached the This Is Fine portion of the Vanderbilt basketball season. You could argue accurately that “This Is Fine” has been the mantra of both Vanderbilt football and basketball since the calendar turned to 2019, though granted, that mantra fit Bryce Drew much better than it does Jerry Stackhouse, who at least seems to acknowledge that everything is not fine.

Anyway, we’re in Gainesville, Florida, tonight, where the Gators just finished a week where they destroyed Tennessee and beat Georgia on the road, and the Gators beat Vanderbilt 91-72 in the first matchup. Somehow, Florida is only a 13-point favorite tonight!

Have fun, expect to win, and Anchor Down.
