So, there will at least be some people in attendance on Saturday.

Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

After initially saying that Vanderbilt football would not have any fans in attendance through the end of October, the university backtracked a bit on Monday and said that “limited” student attendance will be allowed for Saturday’s game against LSU. The Hustler has more. We’re not exactly sure how “limited” we’re talking about here — remember, Vanderbilt can have the entire undergraduate population in attendance and not even reach the 25 percent capacity we’ve been seeing at other SEC schools — but, well, is the Spirit of Gold invited?

Here’s an update on former Vanderbilt players in MLB this season. The Playoffs start today and, spoiler, Andrew has a game thread coming. (Also coming today: Derek Mason’s press conference. I’ll have your recap whenever I can actually find it. Last week was kind of an adventure but I eventually found it on WatchESPN... and apparently, they’re not at 12:15 any more.)

RIP Otis Washington, who lettered at Vanderbilt from 2003-05.
