Vanderbilt soccer won its season opener in dramatic fashion, falling behind Kentucky 2-0 in the first half before rallying back to a 3-2 victory behind two second-half goals by Haley Hopkins and a third from Blue Ellis. More from the Hustler.

It’s finally game week for Vanderbilt football, and the Commodores have announced their team captains: seniors Andre Mintze and Dayo Odeyingbo on the defensive side, along with redshirt sophomore Cam Johnson and redshirt junior Grant Miller on offense.
Also, the Bryan/College Station Eagle previews Saturday’s game between the Aggies and the Commodores.
Men’s cross country finished third and women’s cross country finished fourth at Saturday’s Commodore Classic at Percy Warner Park.
Today’s Monday, which means Joe Fisher is hosting his weekly radio show The Commodore Hour on 102.5 The Game at 7 PM.
