Today’s Featured Game

Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota—1:00pm CT ESPN

Nelly Cruz drove in the winning run in the 9th as the Twins beat the Pirates 5-4, bringing the Pirates to a dismal 2-8 on the season. Bryan Reynolds didn’t help matters much, going 0-3 with a BB.

Other Games Featuring Former Dores

Cleveland vs. Cin City—5:10pm CT MLB.TV

Sonny Gray improved to 3-0 on the season, and lowered his ERA to 0.96. Simply put, he’s a no doubt All Star and Cy Young frontrunner right now. His line last night was 6 IP, 4 H, 2 R (1 earned), 2 BB, 8 K. In addition, this game brought the Reds up to .500. Reports of their demise were greatly exaggerated.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Atlanta Braves—6:10pm CT MLB.TV

The Braves dropped back down to 2nd place in the East (the red hot Marlins are still 2-1), losing 7-2 to the NY Mets (Apu’s favorite squadron), and more devastatingly, losing Ace Mike Soroka for the season, after he was tragically shot by Paris’s arrow in the one vulnerable spot on his body. Why Thetis did not dip him twice, we’ll never know.

Dansby was dropped back to the #7 spot in the lineup, and went 0-4 with 4 Ks. Just a shitty day all around for Hotlanta.

San Fransisky Garlic Fries vs. Colorado Rockies—7:40pm CT MLB.TV

Despite staging a late charge and plating 2 in the 9th, San Fransisky returned to one game under .500, as the Rockies beat them 7-6. Yaz went 1-4 with a 2 run dinger.

Texas vs. Oakland—8:10pm CT MLB.TV

Tony Kemp K’d in his only AB last night, but the A’s didn’t need him, as they whooped the Mariners 11-1.

No Dores play for the Dodgers tonight, but last night...

Walker Buehler took the ND, but the Dodgers lost in San Diego. Buehler’s line for the night: 5 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 3 K, and surrendered 3 HR.

MLB Covid-19 Outbreak Update

Carson Fulmer and De2roit were scheduled to face St. Louis... and that ain’t happening. Marlins are still quarantined. And in a new one for MLB in 2020, the Phillies vs. Yankess game has been Hurricane’d out.

Update your Apocalypse Bingo cards accordingly.
