Phils took it 7-4 in extras last night in the most unexpected way, as Scott Kingery became Scott Dingery for just the first time this season. Side note: Kingery is recovering from a Covid infection he suffered in Spring Training 2.0. It has clearly affected his play. I’m rooting for him, Freddie Freeman, and all people currently recovering from the virus. It is not easy. Trust me.

Today is Josh Tomlin vs. Zack Eflin on the mound... which is clearly not appointment viewing, as you likely have never heard of either. Still, it’s the game I’ll be watching, the Phils are trying to finally climb back to .500, and the Mansby will be playing SS. Hey, it’s a thing to do before you watch Central Arkansas Football get Peayed on tonight.

Speaking of Dansby, he went 0-5 with 2 Ks. Wheeler has clearly had his number this year.
