Gabe Dorsey, a 6’6”, 205-pound wing player from The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, announced his commitment to Vanderbilt on Sunday night over competing offers from Georgetown, Miami, Penn State, Providence, Tennessee, VCU, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Rivals ranks him as the #148 prospect in the Class of 2021, while 247 Sports ranks him #109 in its composite rating. 247 Sports rates Dorsey as a four-star recruit.
Dorsey joins Peyton Daniels in the 2021 recruiting class. By my count, this means that all 13 scholarships for the 2021-22 season are now accounted for, though in this day and age it’s usually safe to assume that somebody with eligibility remaining will not be back.
