Today’s Featured Games
Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers—8:05pm CT MLB.TV
Mike Minor on the mound, looking to recapture his 2019 form. It hasn’t been easy this year. He’s currently 0-3 with a 6.89 ERA.
Other Games Featuring Former Dores
Kansas City Royals vs. Cin City Reds—5:40pm CT MLB.TV
Reds had off yesterday. Only reason to watch this one is Casali, and he’s splitting time at catcher, so you can’t be sure he’ll be in the lineup.
Atlanta Braves vs. NYY—6:00pm CT MLB.TV
The Bravos just gave up 13 runs to the Phillies yesterday. For that, they are greeted by baseball’s most dangerous lineup. Swanson went 0-2 with 2 K in the game, and came out early. You can be forgiven for not noticing his absence, as Charlie Culberson came in later in the game, and I defy facial recognition software to be able to tell the difference.
Chicago White Sox vs. De2roit Tigers—6:10pm CT MLB.TV
Fulmer wasn’t used in the win over the Sox, so he might see action tonight.
San Fransisky Garlic Fries vs. Houston Trashcan Bangers—8:10pm CT MLB.TV
The Bangers took this one 6-4. Yaz went 0-3 with a BB and a R.
Oakland vs. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Indiana University of Pennsylvania—8:40pm CT MLB.TV
The A’s streak stopped at 9 wins, as they lost 10-9. Kemp did not play. Some may argue that was the reason the A’s lost, while others will point to Mike Trout’s 4-5 with 2 HR, 4 R, and 3 RBI night. Who’s to say?
MLB Covid Mismanagement Update
Oh, so the MLB is exploring a multi-city NHL-style bubble format for the playoffs? You mean the thing they should have done in the first place? Hmm.
Major League Baseball has had preliminary discussions about holding its postseason in a bubble-type format, sources familiar with the conversations told ESPN.
