Well, that was quick: former Vanderbilt pitcher Carson Fulmer was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers, a couple of days after the White Sox designated him for assignment. The Tigers, I believe, were first on the waiver priority list so it’s clear that somebody still sees potential in Fulmer, even if the White Sox don’t.
