Sunday 7/26 Dores in the Pros MLB Game Thread

No Dores on the mound today, so let’s watch Bryan Reynolds’ Moustache break his 0-fer (please and thank you).

Quick Recap of Yesterday’s Games

Yaz went 2-4 with a run as the Garlic Fries take one to avoid being swept by the Trolley Dodgers.

Mike Minor only gave up 1 ER in 5 innings, but took the L against the Rockies.

Curt Casali went yard, but Cin City still lost 6-4 to De2roit.

The Cards slapped the crap out of the Buccos 9-1. Bryan Reynolds is hitless through two games. If he keeps this up, that glorious perv-stache is a goner.

We were told Tony Kemp would get the bulk of starts in a platoon at second base, but Billy Beane has clearly lied to us. He paid dearly for his insolence, as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Indiana University of Pennsylvania beat the A’s 4-1.

Here’a all you need to know regarding the Braves vs. Mets:

Today’s Featured Games

Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies—12:05pm CT MLB.TV

Again, no Vanderbilt connection here, but I’ll be watching it, and it’s the first game on the Sunday docket. One of the many rubber-match games this Sunday. Will Joe Girardi go with Malvern Prep’s own Phil “Baby Goose” Gosselin as DH again after he hit two unexpected dingers yesterday? Lord, I hope so.

De2roit Tigers vs. Cin City Reds—12:10pm CT MLB.TV

Just like yesterday, don’t watch this game unless you have a crush on Curt Casali and/or rubber-matches.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals—1:15pm CT MLB.TV

Once again, I am asking for Bryan Reynolds to unleash the power of the perv-stache and get his first hit of the season.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Indiana University vs. Oakland A’s—3:10pm CT MLBN

Will they finally play Tony Kemp in this rubber-match? Or do we have to give Billy Beane a punch in the he-ead?

Atlanta Braves vs. NY Mets—6:00pm CT ESPN

ESPN knows you have a crush on Dansby Swanson, and get all tingly when you hear the phrase “rubber-match” whilst thinking of his hair.

San Fransisky Garlic Fries vs. LA Trolley Dodgers—9:00pm CT ESPN

Will Yaz be able to even up this four game series? Well, the Garlic Fries have yet to announce their starting pitcher, so (shakes Magic 8 Ball)... Don’t count on it.

See you crumb bums in the comments!
