2021 Woodward Academy CB Alan “Taco” Wright Commits to Vanderbilt

Wright is the younger brother of incoming quarterback Mike Wright.

For the second day in a row, Vanderbilt has a new commitment in the 2021 recruiting class.

Alan “Taco” Wright, a cornerback prospect from Woodward Academy in College Park, GA, and the younger brother of 2020 quarterback recruit Mike Wright, announced his commitment to Vanderbilt via Twitter on Wednesday. (Surely this comes with a SATCO endorsement, right?) The younger Wright is rated as a three-star recruit on Rivals, while 247 Sports ranks him as the #107 prospect in Georgia.

Wright is Vanderbilt’s seventh commitment in the Class of 2021 and bumps the Commodores’ recruiting class up to 66th nationally on Rivals, and 69th (nice) on 247 Sports.
