Top Chef Game Thread: The Finale

It’s Melissa, Cmar, and the Voltaggioltage in the finale. Three humans enter; one human leaves.

It all comes down to this. Last week, Kevin attempted a ham on ham on ham entree and, though no judges suffered a widow-maker heart attack, they did make him pack his knives (presumably made from ham) and go. Tom’s wife is displeased.

That leaves two frontrunners—Melissa King and Bryan Voltaggio—and one Stephanie Cmar. Though Melissa has won the last three mo-freaking elimination challenges, and Voltaggio has come in 2nd in the two previous Top Chef seasons in which he competed, Cmar... also exists. The way these types of cooking competitions delight in head-faking the audience, she’s bound to win it all tonight.

...except Melissa doesn’t lose. She’ll make three broth and/or congee-based courses and smoke the field.

...or Voltaggio will turn up the Voltaggioltage, get out of his own head, and actually cook something delicious.

Let’s do this, AoG. No Malarkey!
