Vanderbilt was in Sugick’s final three along with NC State and Wake Forest; in addition, his 247 Sports page lists offers from Virginia, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, Purdue, Rutgers, Tennessee (lol noncommittable according to UT fans), and West Virginia. The 247 Sports composite has Sugick rated as the #35 defensive tackle prospect in the Class of 2021, and the #21 prospect in Maryland. Rivals rates him as the #31 defensive tackle prospect and #19 in Maryland. Both services have him rated as a three-star recruit.
247 Sports also ranks him #644 in the country, making him the second-highest rated prospect in Vanderbilt’s current four-member recruiting class, behind WR Jack Bech and ahead of DL Tyler Bence and OL Jake Ketschek. At the present time, Vanderbilt’s 2021 class is ranked 45th on 247 Sports and 48th on Rivals. Sugick was previously committed to Virginia.
