24 days ago, Vanderbilt snapped its long SEC losing streak with a 99-90 win over LSU. Since then, well, it’s been more losing: the Commodores now find themselves on a six-game losing streak, and they’ve lost those games by an average of 9.5 points per game. There was, obviously, a near-miss against Georgia last Saturday; there was also a non-competitive loss at Florida and surrendering 51 second-half points against Kentucky.

So, what’s the antidote? Why, a team on a losing streak of its own. The Ole Miss Rebels have lost four straight, and with a record of 13-15 (4-11 in the SEC) the Rebels are probably going nowhere. They do feature the SEC’s second-leading scorer, Breein Tyree, who’s averaging 24.1 ppg in SEC play... but, uh, in spite of that, they have that record.

So... maybe? I don’t know. Have fun, expect to win, and Anchor Down.
