On to the sixth game of the 11-game homestand.
Vanderbilt started its current five-game winning streak last Tuesday when Jack Leiter made his Commodore debut, and completely shut down South Alabama before giving way to reliever Thomas Schultz. Leiter is scheduled to make his second start today, and the opponent is Evansville.
Evansville is off to a 0-7 start on the season, getting swept by Tennessee Tech to open the season and following that up with losses to the likes of Lipscomb, MTSU, Belmont, and Austin Peay. Vanderbilt is a pretty significant step up from that competition.
Game time is 4:30 PM CT on the SEC Network+. Anchor Down.
