The Vanderbilt baseball team looks to finish the MLB4 Collegiate Baseball Tournament with a winning record.

Junior lefthander Jake Eder will get his first start in two seasons after making 18 appearances out of the bullpen in 2019. Eder was shaky as a starter in 2018, but excellent out of the bullpen last year.

On the other side are the Cal Poly Mustangs, 28-28 last season and 1-1 this season, with a 5-0 win over UConn on Friday followed by an 8-5 loss to Michigan yesterday. Game time is 3:00 PM CT and today’s game may be streamed on mlb.com.

The Lineup:

Lineup Thoughts:

This lineup is pretty much the same as what we’ve seen all week. Looks like Corbs is moving Dr. Jones up to 5th to take advantage of his power bat, as well as to split up the righties in the middle of the lineup. If it’s Parker Noland again at DH (as I expect), our lineup will go:

  1. L
  2. R
  3. R
  4. R
  5. L
  6. R
  7. L
  8. R
  9. Switch

Going with the grays today.

See you in the comments.
