Good morning.
Optional Musical Accompaniment
The Vanderbilt Commodores’ men’s basketball team opens SEC play tonight at 8 PM CT against the Florida Gators, who will be without preseason SEC Player of the Year Keyontae Johnson (and I’m sure you’ve heard of the reason he’s out and I won’t recount it here.) Tonight’s game will be televised on ESPN2.
The Hustler has its SEC Basketball Power Rankings in which Vanderbilt isn’t last, but Tennessee is first. Boo.
VUCommodores.com has a profile on women’s bowler Mabel Cummins.
The football team lost a couple more players to the transfer portal, this time James Bostic III and Jamauri Wakefield. Frankly, neither of these losses are unexpected — hell, Wakefield was a fifth-year senior.
