Optional Musical Accompaniment
Well, the women’s basketball team still hasn’t started its season and won’t tonight, either. The Commodores were scheduled to host Texas Tech tonight and now won’t, thanks to “the circumstances surrounding COVID-19” and the release from the university leaves it at that.
Here’s Tom Fornelli being an idiot. No, Vanderbilt shouldn’t run the option. Shut up.
Todd Fitch had his first press conference as head coach yesterday.
And, uh, I’m just gonna leave this here.
Vandy interim coach Todd Fitch said he "talked to a couple of guys" about players opting out.— Adam Sparks (@AdamSparks) December 1, 2020
Said there would be updates on roster numbers later in week.
“I’m not sure that Vandy will have enough players to finish the season. I’m hearing that 6 or 7 more players have left the program. Some of them are team captain level names.”- @BrunoReagan— The Midday 180 (@Midday180) December 1, 2020
“I think some players are leaving the program after being told that Sarah Fuller is the starter on kick-off even with Riley Guay eligible to kick on Saturday. They don’t want to be part of a publicity stunt.”- @BrunoReagan— The Midday 180 (@Midday180) December 1, 2020
(Note: I had no idea Ryley Guay still had eligibility and was enrolled at the med school.)
