Well, no women’s basketball, either.

NCAA Womens Basketball: Tennessee at Vanderbilt Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

Well, the women’s basketball team still hasn’t started its season and won’t tonight, either. The Commodores were scheduled to host Texas Tech tonight and now won’t, thanks to “the circumstances surrounding COVID-19” and the release from the university leaves it at that.

The Tennessean podcasts about the Vanderbilt football coaching search. In other coaching change-related news, Mike Wright says he’s sticking around.

Here’s Tom Fornelli being an idiot. No, Vanderbilt shouldn’t run the option. Shut up.

Todd Fitch had his first press conference as head coach yesterday.

And, uh, I’m just gonna leave this here.

(Note: I had no idea Ryley Guay still had eligibility and was enrolled at the med school.)

Yesterday’s Basketball

Alabama 86, UNLV 74 ... Kansas 65, Kentucky 62.
