Well, today’s National Signing Day, or really day one of the three-day early signing period. I honestly haven’t been paying much attention to recruiting this year mostly because I assumed that Derek Mason would be gone and then so would most of the recruiting class, only that hasn’t happened and Clark Lea should sign most of the recruits that were in the class. Official Signing Day page at vucommodores.com is here and it looks like as I’m writing this, OL Gage Pitchford and DL Tyler Bence have already signed.

Vanderbilt also got a commitment from West Virginia transfer offensive lineman Junior Uzebu, so that’s good.

Koi Love is the SEC Player of the Week after averaging 20 points and 14 rebounds against ETSU and Chattanooga last week.

And the men’s basketball team hosts Richmond today at noon on the SEC Network. No, I don’t know why this game is at noon, either. Yes, we’ll have a game thread.
