Good morning, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Optional Musical Accompaniment

So, most of the Vanderbilt-related news today concerns the possibility of a female kicker for Saturday’s game. Chris Lee podcasted with Bruno Reagan and Seabass and according to Bruno, this isn’t a popular move in the locker room. (I haven’t listened all the way through, but the reason, from best I can gather, is that the players didn’t like that active players on the team were not allowed to give kicking a try.)

The Hustler has notes from Derek Mason’s press conference and three matchups to watch in Saturday’s game.

Finally, Temple has paid us back: Re’Mahn Davis, who rushed for 936 yards as a freshman in 2019 and 308 more this season, is transferring to Vanderbilt.

And speaking of running backs, Chad Bishop writes about walk-on Mitchell Pryor, the team’s leading rusher in the Florida game.

From the (somewhat) enemy beat, Dave Matter at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch writes about Derek Mason’s job status.

Golfer William Moll has been named to the Haskins Award watch list.

Finally, Jerry Stackhouse announced his starting lineup at yesterday’s press conference:

Also, some highlights from the basketball team’s scrimmage:
