Good morning. College basketball is back and so is the Anchor Drop.
Optional Musical Accompaniment
The SEC announced that Vanderbilt women’s basketball will have seven conference games this season televised on the SEC Network. Also, game times for all of the team’s games are now set.
Two things from this report from Simon Gibbs: first, a bunch of the football team’s specialists are in quarantine. Second, Sarah Fuller, the goalkeeper on the women’s soccer team, was working out with the football team yesterday. Women’s soccer player joining a winless college football team as a kicker was the exact plot of Necessary Roughness.
And of course, the women’s soccer player in Necessary Roughness joined the football team right before the football team played a Big 8 school (Kansas in the movie, Missouri in real life.)
ICYMI: Dimitri Moore entered the transfer portal, and basketball’s season opener will be televised.
