Finally, the Vanderbilt Commodores have a basketball schedule, with the nonconference portion of the schedule being made official on Tuesday.

The Commodores will open the season on November 27 with a home game against Valparaiso. Then, Vanderbilt will head to Uncasville, Connecticut, for the Legends Classic, opening against UConn on December 1, followed by a second game against either USC or BYU on December 3.

Vanderbilt will remain on the road for a trip to play SMU on December 8, then will return to Memorial Gym for four games, hosting North Carolina Central on December 11, Mississippi Valley State on the 13th, Richmond on the 16th, and Radford on the 19th. The Commodores close out the nonconference schedule at Davidson on December 22.

Assuming Vanderbilt is able to get in the entire schedule, the Commodores will play 27 games this season. That’s pretty close to a full season under normal circumstances.
