Good morning. (Late, but you’ll live.)
Optional Musical Accompaniment
Let’s start with the good news! Former Vanderbilt RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn scored the first touchdown of his NFL career yesterday in the Buccaneers’ 38-31 win over the Chargers. Vaughn, of course, was the Commodores’ leading rusher in 2018 and 2019.
Simon Gibbs is back with his weekly Commodore Brunch recapping the LSU game.
Soccer lost 2-1 at Missourah on Saturday. (It was my understanding they were only playing SEC teams this season.)
Men’s and women’s golf open the season today at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational at the Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Apparently this is going to be televised on the Golf Channel?
In other news, tune into the Commodore Hour with Joe Fisher at 7 PM tonight.
