Oh, look. A 2-12 week.

DISCLAIMER: Again, what part of “Bad Gambling Advice” are you struggling with?

Last week’s record: 0-7 ATS, 2-5 totals

Season to date: 5-16 ATS, 11-10 totals

Actually, last week WAS, in fact, a good week to fade this column. This week, we only have five games thanks to COVID-19 outbreaks at both Florida and Vanderbilt.

Auburn at South Carolina (11:00 AM CT, ESPN): I mean, what have you seen from Auburn in its last two games to make you think they have a functional offense, or that they’re about to go into Columbia and beat the Cocks? Because I have seen nothing. Picks: South Carolina +3.5, Under 52.

Kentucky at Tennessee (11:00 AM CT, SEC Network): Kentucky, in spite of winning 24-2, had 157 yards of total offense against a Mike Leach defense last Saturday. No, I do not have any confidence in them and neither should you. Picks: Tennessee -6, Under 45.5.

Ole Miss at Arkansas (2:30 PM CT, SEC Network): I mean, at this point, you should probably just take the over in every Ole Miss game because they’re not gonna play any defense and no defense is going to hold their offense under 40. Picks: Arkansas +2.5, Over 76.

Texas A&M at Mississippi State (3:00 PM CT, ESPN): Texas A&M is coming off a big, potentially program-defining win? You know what this means: time to fart away a game against a Mississippi school. Picks: Mississippi State +5, Over 54.5.

Georgia at Alabama (7:00 PM CT, CBS): Since I am playing the irrational gambler here, this is where I remind you that Steve “Seven-Win Steve” Sarkisian will be coaching Alabama in this game. Also, only one of these teams has a defense and it’s not Alabama. Picks: Georgia +4.5, Over 56.5.
