Good morning.
Optional Musical Accompaniment
Well, in the wake of the news that Vanderbilt’s football game at Missouri has been postponed, what do we talk about? Why, the #2-ranked Vanderbilt women’s bowling team, that’s what. The National Tenpin Coaches Association released its preseason poll yesterday, which had the Commodores ranked second behind McKendree, something that I am sure none of our commenters will have anything to say about. Hail Pinman.
And speaking of the football game getting postponed, it seems South Carolina has released a statement about it, too.
“Our athletics training staff has been notified by Vanderbilt, per SEC protocols, that no players on the Gamecock football team were identified as being a close contact that would result in quarantine,” the statement read. “A close contact is identified as someone who is within six feet of an infected person for at least 15 cumulative minutes. We will continue to test our players as normal SEC protocols — three times each week.”
Well, all righty then.
Anyway, not a ton to report today. There are about ten jillion articles on the internet about the football game getting cancelled and just the one about the women’s bowling team being ranked #2, so we can tell where everyone’s priorities are. The Anchor Down podcast and the Dore Report have new episodes recapping the South Carolina game.
