Well, thanks to three 2-0 sweeps in the American League, Thursday’s action only includes five games. It is, of course, plausible that all four NL series end today, and the Chicago-Oakland series in the AL will certainly come to an end.
Anyway, here’s your watch schedule. Enjoy!
11:00 AM: Cincinnati Reds at Atlanta Braves (ESPN)
Of course, Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson will play in this one, and possibly Reds backup catcher Curt Casali.
1:00 PM: Miami Marlins at Chicago Cubs (ABC)
Nope, no former Commodores in this one.
2:00 PM: Chicago White Sox at Oakland A’s (ESPN)
Tony Kemp is on the A’s roster but has yet to appear in this series.
6:00 PM: St. Louis Cardinals at San Diego Padres (ESPN)
Nothing here, either.
9:00 PM: Milwaukee Brewers at Los Angeles Dodgers (ESPN)
Walker Buehler started last night for the Dodgers and won’t be seen in this one.
So: to get four games on Friday, we’ll need the Reds, Cubs, Padres, and Brewers to win.
