It appears that Vanderbilt has completed its football coaching staff overhaul with today’s announcement of Kenechi Udeze as the new linebackers coach.
Udeze spent the 2019 season working as a defensive analyst at LSU, but prior to that, he spent three years as the defensive line coach at his alma mater, USC, where he played in the early 2000s. Udeze also played in the NFL.
That would seem to leave all ten assistant coaching positions accounted for. We’re assuming Matt Weikert will continue to be the outside linebackers coach, so that would leave Udeze to work with the inside linebackers.
