Anchor Drop, January 2, 2020: Women open SEC play

Vanderbilt hosts Auburn on Thursday night.

Good morning.

The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team opens SEC play tonight against Auburn at 7:30 PM CT at Memorial Gym. Tonight’s game can be streamed on the SEC Network+. Vanderbilt is off to a 10-3 start this season; the Tigers are 6-5, but have won six in a row against Vanderbilt.

Women’s swimming was in action on New Year’s Day, beating Campbell 135-127.

At VandySports, Chris Lee talked to the editor of the Louisiana Tech Rivals site about new Vanderbilt OC Todd Fitch.

Jauan Jennings said that it was an “accident” that he stepped on the face of Vanderbilt’s Justice Shelton-Mosley. Sure it was, Jauan.

And it seems former Vanderbilt OL coach Cam Norcross has found a new job...
